Arundells - Change of Use 

The Trustees of The Sir Edward Heath Foundation have submitted a planning application to Salisbury District Council on 16 August 2007 for temporary change of use.

SCCPS Comment:

The revised planning application is asking for "a temporary change of use for three years from private dwelling to mixed use as a private dwelling and dwelling (in part) open to the public".

We are pleased to note that the revision  takes account of our earlier concerns. These were:

• Strict time limit on any change of use

• Minimize disruption to the residential character of Arundells and surroundings

A detailed response will be subject to committee consultations of the Salisbury Cathedral Close Preservation Society.
